Kate & Lucas ~ A Virginia Beach DIY Wedding

Hello, hello everyone!

I am so excited to share photos from Kate and Lucas' beautiful wedding day. It was a sunny late June day that included abundant love and many awesome do-it-yourself details! So many things went into making this day special... being exactly six months after Kate and Lucas got engaged, Kate wearing her mom's wedding dress, Kate and all her siblings being together for the first time in SIX years... and they entrusted little ol' me to capture everything about it. How humbling and exciting!!

Enjoy these snapshots of their day! As they remind me how much I love this job, I hope the Nobles and Guendoo families are blessed by the memories they stir up.

To start it off, these flowers are wooden... How cool is that?!
Kate is able to treasure them forever in her home.

Hooray for a TOMS wedding!

This is Kate's grandmother's garter <3
Kate's mom wore it too, and now it contains a penny from each wedding year of the three women!

The bride seeing herself for the first time!

They exchanged letters before the ceremony, sharing a few moments together while sticking with tradition by not seeing each other. I love this.

This was so cute... Lucas didn't want her to leave!

Surrounded by those closest to them, drowned in prayer before beginning their marriage <3

Ceremony time! I love it when couples use our engagement photos for their guestbook!

I LOVE the photo of Kate's mom and step-dad dancing down the aisle, on the right!

Kate and her siblings! All reunited!

Oh, these two lovebirds... <3

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Guendoo!

Niece and nephews... SO cute.

This is probably my favorite bouquet toss photo out of all I have taken.
It's nothing I did... The expressions on the ladies are just priceless!

Ribbon wand exit!

CONGRATULATIONS Kate & Lucas!! I truly enjoyed spending the day with you and your guests, and I'm looking forward to seeing all God has in store for your marriage! Love y'all!

What'd you think of the photos?! Let me know! Be sure to also view the snowy engagement photos Kate and Lucas used to make their guestbook!

  1. That is so great that you have shared Kate and Lucas wedding photographs. I loved all these photographs and everyone look very fabulous. You know even I also booked this same wedding location venue for my wedding. Can you share your experience with me related to this venue?
