Do you remember the Krauss family?? I took photos for Nathan's Eagle Scout portraits and ceremony last fall! The Krausses are members of the church Andrew and I attend (and where Andrew works), and they have been so, so kind to us during our time here at Bethel. They have opened their house to us many times in various ways, Nathan and Matthew are active and awesome members of the youth group, and we're sure to get a smile and a hug when we see them.
Nathan works for Airlie Hotel & Conference Center, and - oh my goodness - it is a beautiful place! I absolutely loved our family + senior session there. I was in awe as we roamed the grounds and took in all they have to offer. There are so many scenic spots! We enjoyed lots of fall colors as we walked around one Sunday evening, taking photos of the family then focusing on Nathan for some senior portraits. :)
Enjoy!
Disclaimer for the next photo: Nathan and Matthew are tall, but they are not giants.
They were standing on a hill in this one. :)
Pictured below is Airlie House... Just one of the beautiful buildings on the grounds!
These are so precious. :)
Because we love flowers!
Helloooo lighting!
After the family photos, we transitioned into a mini senior session for Nathan!
He'll be graduating high school at the end of May!
This one (below) is one of my favorites. Look at that smile!
We finished out our session by popping by the community garden at Airlie.
The Krauss fam has a plot there, as do several other families in the area!
We decided to have some shower-y fun under the huge sunflowers ;)
Hahaha, love it!
After seeing those photos (especially the last one... I mean, come on), you can't help but love this family... right?! Thank you, Krauss fam, for the wonderful evening together!! Thank you again for all you do for the church and for Andrew and me, as well. :)
Editing this session was extra exciting because I'll be photographing a wedding at Airlie THIS weekend! Be sure to "like" Kelly Hudgins Photography to see all the sneak peeks and find out when other blog posts are up!
Y'all are great. Soak up some joy in this holiday season. :)
Love,
Kelly
